Net Zero & Climate Change Speakers
In recent years, the battle to decelerate climate change has become increasingly prevalent. 2015 to 2021 were the warmest years on record, and from 2022 to 2026 it is predicted to be between 1.1°c and 1.7°c warmer than pre-industrial levels (1850-1900). Since 1880, Earth’s temperature has risen by 0.08°c per decade, highlighting the alarming rate of climate change that is destroying the planet.
In order to tackle such horrific global warming, the term Net Zero has been conceptualised, referring to the balance of greenhouse gases that are being emitted into the environment and the greenhouse gases being removed from the atmosphere. Hire one of our internationally leading speakers on net zero and climate change to understand more.

What is Net Zero?
Net zero is a term that has been created as a means of tackling climate change. Net zero is defined as the target of negating the number of greenhouse gases produced by human activity, which will be done by balancing the level of greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere with the level of greenhouse gases that are being removed from the atmosphere.

How Can I Become Net Zero?
Society as a whole needs to do more to tackle climate change, and a great way to do so is by becoming net zero. But how do you become net zero?
- Choose a zero-carbon-backed electricity company
- Reduce your energy usage
- Reduce the amount you use heating
- Drive an electric car
- Reduce waste
There are many other ways in which you can become net zero, but just these small changes can greatly impact the level of greenhouse gases you personally emit into the atmosphere.
