Paulette Frank is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Johnson & Johnson, the world’s largest healthcare company. She has held several positions within the fields of the environment, health and safety and sustainability for over 30 years. Having gained her BSc in Biology from Duke University, Paulette then went on to complete her MSc in Environmental Management and Environmental Studies from the Yale School of Environment. For her former University, she was previously the co-chair and is currently a member of the centre for Business and the Environment Advisory Board at Yale. In 1997 she started her prestigious career in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and held various positions, each of increasing responsibility, for Johnson & Johnson. In 2009 she was then promoted to the Vice President of Consumer Sustainability and was head of the team which developed and executed their sustainability mission and then became the Worldwide Vice President in Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability.

Since 2021 Paulette has been the Chief Sustainability Officer for Johnson & Johnson and has been responsible for ensuring the company is leading the way in their global environmental, sustainability and human rights strategies. In turn, this will propel the business towards a more equitable and sustainable future. Included in these initiatives is the company’s 2025 and 2030 climate goals. Alongside these responsibilities, Paulette is the co-chair of their Enterprise Governance Council and Supply Chain Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council.
