Jennifer’s journey to becoming a sustainability leader began with a solid foundation in business and marketing. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University in 2010, she held various positions in marketing, including at Procter & Gamble. However, her true passion emerged when she transitioned into the world of climate technology. In 2013, Jennifer co-founded MakerKids, where she worked to inspire the next generation of innovators. By 2023, she had founded Koru Labs, a company focused on developing AI tools for climate entrepreneurs. Her experience in both technology and sustainability gave her the unique ability to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and environmental impact.
In recent years, Jennifer has achieved significant milestones in the climate tech sector. Former partner at Climate Capital Syndicate, one of the world’s most active climate tech investment firms, Jennifer was also a partner and co-instructor of the Climate Angels programme, she has empowered individuals to invest in transformative climate solutions. Her work extends beyond the boardroom, with her speaking engagements at prestigious events such as COP29, TEDxBoston, and New York Climate Week. Jennifer’s contributions also include collaborating with the US Department of Energy to develop simulation games focused on climate entrepreneurship and AI.
