After graduating from Imperial College London, Catherine began her career at the BBC’s Science and Natural History Units. This early period provided her with hands-on experience in wildlife production, conservation journalism, and environmental campaigning, laying a strong foundation for her future work. She went on to contribute to the Discovery Channel and Sundog Pictures, further broadening her skills in documentary filmmaking and sustainability marketing. In 2015, Catherine embarked on a personal challenge to visit twelve wildlife hotspots in twelve months, documenting her journeys on YouTube. This move towards social media allowed her to grow a loyal online community, sharing her environmental passions with audiences across YouTube and Instagram.

Catherine’s enthusiasm for rewilding, women in climate leadership, and the connection between nature and wellbeing has shaped her career for more than fifteen years. Alongside her work in filmmaking and digital media, she has taken on influential roles, including Trustee for the European Nature Trust and the Big Blue Foundation. Currently, she serves as the UK communications consultant for Treedom, a platform that promotes digital tree planting and climate action. Her voice has been featured in interviews with Lenovo, Divernet, and Global Nomadic, offering platforms to share her passion for conservation and responsible travel.
