Jane began her career as an environmental consultant with Central Management Services before progressing to a Senior Environmental Management Consultant role at Amec Environment & Infrastructure UK Limited. Her early work gave her a firm grounding in environmental management and the practical challenges faced by businesses seeking to operate responsibly. Transitioning into finance, she joined Janus Henderson Investors as a Senior Sustainable Investment Analyst, where she integrated environmental, social, and governance considerations into investment strategies long before such practices became mainstream. A Sustainable Investment Strategic Advisor role at HSBC further expanded her influence in shaping corporate sustainability thinking within major financial institutions. Her leadership credentials were established at Willis Towers Watson, where she served as Global Head of Sustainable and Responsible Investment, helping institutional investors navigate the growing importance of ESG principles. Jane went on to hold a series of senior positions at Quilter, including Group Corporate Affairs and Responsible Business Director, where she drove initiatives that strengthened the firm’s commitment to ethical business and financial education. Since 2021, she has served as the Group Head of Sustainability for the London Stock Exchange Group.

Alongside her executive roles, she has served on several influential boards, including TISA UK, The Investment Association, and The LSEG Foundation, and is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Centre for Financial Capability.
