In 2009, she founded VBites – an international multi-award winning plant-based vegan ethical food company, now offering 130 vegan products in over 20 countries. Heather also launched the completely vegan brand Be At One. Named 2008 Animal Activist of the year, Heather is a passionate advocate for animal rights and welfare. A patron to Retreat Animal Rescue, Heather has a track record of facing animal welfare challenges head on. In 2007, Heather undertook an undercover investigation into farming, leading to Marks and Spencer ending their use of cruelty intensive pig farming.
