In the early stages of her career, Hannah built a strong academic foundation that set her apart in the field. She earned a First Class Degree in Zoology from the University of Plymouth and further honed her skills with a Masters in Wildlife Filmmaking from the University of the West of England. During her university years, she specialised in the illegal wildlife trade online and animal exploitation, which deepened her understanding of environmental challenges. Her career began with roles such as Lead Production Researcher for the Blue Marine Foundation in 2017, alongside stints as an Interviewer for Royal Television Society Bristol and Camera Operator for the Slapstick Comedy Festival Bristol, marking the beginning of a promising journey.

Hannah’s recent achievements further highlight her dynamic presence in the industry. In 2019, she served as a Digital Assistant for BBC Springwatch, and in 2018, she took on dual roles as a Presenter/Producer for BBC Earth, creating the innovative online series ‘Wild Cities’ that explores how species adapt to urban environments. Additionally, she worked as a Digital Assistant for BBC Autumnwatch and Winterwatch, and as the Social Media Coordinator for BBC Springwatch, where her creative content management significantly boosted audience engagement. These roles underline her expertise in blending technology with traditional media to reach new audiences.

Today, Hannah is hired as a sustainability speaker because she firmly believes that reaching out to new audiences is imperative to wildlife conservation. In February 2024, Greenpeace announced that she would be hosting a podcast on the wonders of the ocean, the award-winning podcast, Oceans: Life Under Water, is now in its second season. Her innovative work and unwavering commitment to conservation inspire organisations to engage communities in the critical mission of safeguarding our planet.
