Andy Pag is an international adventurer on a mission to highlight the environmental crisis the world currently faces. Through innovative transport methods, powered by sustainable resources, Andy has taken on global expeditions all in the name of raising awareness and education. Now acting as an investigative journalist for the BBC, Andy has refined his message and communication style, making him one of the most impactful speakers to offer sustainable strategies to corporate audiences as a speaker.

Best known for his incredible globetrotting adventures, Andy spent 12 years as an expedition leader across rural Africa and the Sahara Desert before translating his skillset in survival and engineering, into a meaningful purpose. Andy spent two years travelling across the world in scrap school bus powered by used cooking oil, to prove there were other methods of reusable energy for transport. The adventure gained global media attention for its success, innovation, and most importantly the lessons learned about responsible energy sources. Previously, Andy has also made a trip to Timbuktu in a chocolate powered lorry, completed a paragliding and hiking race in the alps and met Prince Charles for his work at the Catlin Arctic Survey.

Following his international pursuits, Andy gained the attention of the media, with images and writing on his travels being featured in Wired, Sports Illustrated and RedBull, to name a few. Andy is now an investigative journalist for BBC Belfast, reporting on stories that cover adventure, sustainability and environmental impact.

With such an established reputation for his innovative sustainable solutions, Andy has been sought after as a speaker for the likes of Deloitte, Hart Energy and the Royal Geographical Society. In 2013 Andy gave a TEDx talk titled ‘Road Trip Towards Sustainability’ which covered his journey and what it taught him about the true meaning of sustainability.
