Alexandra Palt

Alexandra Palt is best known as the current Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer of L’Oréal. Passionate about sustainability, Alexandra is widely regarded as an authority on the subject and is on a mission to reach L’Oréal’s sustainability agendas by 2030. Pushing to go beyond the business model of L’Oréal, Alexandra is now booked as a sustainability speaker on a mission to build a more inclusive and sustainable world.

Currently, Alexandra is working as the VP and CSO of L’Oréal and the VP of the L’Oréal Foundation. Having already set key sustainability goals for 2021, Alexandra is now leading work to hit L’Oréal’s targets for 2030 with the L’Oréal for the Future programme. Continually striving throughout her career to tackle global challenges with a positive impact, Alexandra is hoping to make 100% of L’Oréal’s products have a social or environmental benefit. She is also aiming to reduce the environmental footprint of L’Oréal by 60% and provide work to 100,000 people from underprivileged backgrounds.

Throughout her career, Alexandra has also been concerned with social issues, in particular those concerning women’s and asylum rights. She was formerly the VP of Promotion & Equal Opportunities for HALDE and also took part in the Preparing Young Women to Lead programme. She also founded the Fabric of Society, continuing work as the General Manager in social innovation, change management and corporate social responsibility.

Now booked as a sustainability speaker for corporate events, Alexandra has forged a reputation for accelerating action in the sector. Having formerly spoken at the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, Alexandra is also widely known for launching the Women4Climate events.
