Alice’s journey into sustainability began with a Master’s in Earth Science from the University of Oxford, where she developed a rigorous scientific understanding of the planet’s systems and the impact of human activity. During her studies, she undertook an internship with the Campaign to Protect Rural England, where she worked on branch development initiatives that deepened her appreciation for community-driven environmental protection. This early exposure to advocacy and grassroots engagement laid the groundwork for her pragmatic yet passionate approach to sustainability challenges.

Her professional career began at Mace, a global consultancy and construction company, where she progressed rapidly through several roles from Graduate to Senior Sustainability Manager. At Mace, Alice led sustainability initiatives across major infrastructure and commercial projects, focusing on carbon reduction, sustainable design, and the creation of healthier urban environments. Her work contributed to advancing industry standards in sustainable construction and earned her recognition as a rising figure in corporate sustainability. In 2022, Alice brought her expertise to the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, first as Sustainability Manager and later as Head of Sustainability. In this role, she has been instrumental in steering the team’s ambitious environmental strategy, promoting circular economy principles, renewable energy use, and community impact programmes.
