Zoe Le Grand is Managing Director of the UK/EU team at Forum for the Future, where she also sits on the organisation’s Senior Leadership Team. She is responsible for both strategic and operational delivery, ensuring Forum remains on course to fulfil its mission of creating a just and regenerative future. With over a decade of experience in sustainability, Zoe has advised organisations across diverse sectors, including Unilever, Levi Strauss, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and Kingfisher, as well as NGOs like the World YMCA and foundations such as the C&A Foundation. She is recognised for her ability to inspire leaders and teams to take bold, forward-thinking approaches to sustainability.

Zoe began her career in housing policy before moving into sustainability-focused roles within the built environment sector. At Constructing Excellence, she delivered research, managed projects, and provided policy advice and events aimed at improving sustainability across the construction industry. This early work laid the foundation for her future career, combining technical insight with a practical understanding of how to embed sustainability in complex systems. In 2009, she joined Forum for the Future as a Senior Sustainability Advisor, marking the beginning of a long and impactful association with the organisation.

Over the years, Zoe rose through the ranks at Forum, becoming Associate Director of the UK/EU team in 2019 and subsequently Managing Director in 2023. Her leadership has been instrumental in guiding businesses to develop strategies that generate both environmental and commercial value. She brings a clear and hopeful voice to the sustainability field, helping organisations navigate the complexity of systems change with confidence and ambition. Her academic background includes a BA in Contemporary History from the University of Sussex and an MSc in Business Strategy and the Environment from Birkbeck, University of London, where she achieved a distinction for her thesis on restorative business models.

Zoe is a sought-after speaker and facilitator, known for her engaging and thought-provoking style. She has spoken at major international conferences including GreenBiz and UN events, and has guest lectured at Harvard University and the London School of Economics. In 2024, she delivered the keynote at ENGIE’s Executive Conference: To Net Zero… and Beyond, and co-facilitated the British Retail Consortium’s CEO Climate Exchange on becoming a future-fit retailer. Her ability to translate complex sustainability challenges into actionable insights makes her a powerful advocate for transformative change.
