Will’s journey into sustainability began with a strong academic foundation, graduating with First-Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering and Management from the University of Exeter. His early career included roles at Scatec ASA, where he contributed to solar energy solutions, and at K8 Industridesign, which deepened his understanding of sustainable product innovation. These experiences, paired with a passion for ocean conservation, led to the founding of Ocean Bottle shortly after university – a company now recognised globally for its innovative design and environmental impact.
Since launching Ocean Bottle in 2018, Will has achieved significant recognition. The company has won several prestigious awards including the Red Dot Design Award, the Mayor of London’s Environment Impact Award, and the Green Product Award. Will was also named on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2019, reflecting his growing influence in sustainability. Beyond business, he serves as an Ambassador for A Plastic Planet, advocating for systemic change in the packaging industry. In 2023, he co-founded Ocean Co and took on a leadership role at The Conduit, further expanding his efforts to connect people, planet, and purpose.
