Alongside his climate leadership, he serves as an International Cost Manager for the U.S. Department of State, where he oversees complex international construction programmes. Educated as a Civil Engineer with an MBA in Business Administration, he brings financial discipline, technical rigour and long-term risk awareness to sustainability challenges that are often addressed too narrowly or too late.

Through Africa Climate Resilience, Mandiaye has become best known for bridging the climate finance gap between Global North capital and underfunded climate adaptation projects in developing nations. He channels blended finance from corporate ESG budgets, philanthropy, climate funds and development institutions into afforestation, water access and sustainable agriculture initiatives. His projects prioritise indigenous and fruit-bearing tree planting, delivering higher carbon sequestration, biodiversity protection and long-term community ownership.
