Roger Ballentine

Roger Ballentine is a revered sustainability and energy strategist, who formerly worked as the Chairman of the White House Climate Change Task Force & Deputy Assistant to the President. Having coordinated response and policies in regard to climate change and clean energy, Roger is now available to hire as a sustainability speaker to share his expertise in conserving the earth’s resources and ensuring we live more sustainably.

Currently, Roger is the President of Green Strategies and a Venture Partner of Arborview Capital. His work is based upon helping clients to develop their business strategies, formulating revolutionary government strategies and building relationships with clients and stakeholders. His work with Arborview Capital works closely in hand with Roger’s passions for sustainability, with the company being growth investors in the industry of clean energy, efficient resources and a variety of sustainability based projects. He has also formerly worked as a Lecturer on the Law of Climate Change and Energy at the Harvard Law School, a further testament to his passions for sustainability.

After being a student at Harvard Law School, Roger started his career as a Partner of Patton Boggs LLP. Working with the firm for nine years, Roger was then appointed as the Chairman of the White House Climate Change Task Force. In this role, he was responsible for creating policy for climate change and energy, consulting with many individuals in the private sector and NGOs. Working under the Presidency of Bill Clinton, Roger was also the Deputy Assistant to the President for Environmental Initiatives and a senior member of the White House staff.

Over the course of his career, Roger has helped to create many revolutionary strategies for businesses to increase their competitiveness, all with sustainability and clean energy in mind. Having previously delivered the TEDx talk Fighting Climate Change With Capitalism, Roger is a seasoned speaker and recognised for his proficiency as a sustainability strategist. Also a board member of the American Council on Renewable Energy and Ingersoll Rand’s Advisory Council on Sustainability, Roger Ballentine is a popular and perfect choice as a sustainability speaker for corporate events.
